SUGAR AND NUT GLAZED BRIE ¼ cup packed dark brown sugar ¼ cup chopped pecans 1 tablespoon brandy 1 – 14-ounce round of good French brie Apple wedges for serving Pear wedges for serving 2 to 3 tablespoons of orange juice Good crackers such as Starr Ridge

In small bowl, stir together sugar, nuts and brandy. Cover and chill for at least 24 hours or up to a week.

Preheat oven to 500 degrees.

Place brie on heatproof pie plate. Bake for 4 to 5 minutes or until brie is slightly softened.

Spread sugar mixture in an even layer on top of warm brie and bake for 2 to 3 minutes longer, or until sugar melts.

Brush fruit wedges with orange juice.

Arrange fruit around 1 side of brie and crackers on the other side of brie.
