Box of Dried Dates

Pecans

Mascarpone cheese

Bacon’

 

1. Slice one side of date open. Put a small amount of Mascarpone cheese on pecan.  Place pecan inside date.
2. Slice bacon slices in half length and then in short piece, just long enough to overlap slightly.  Wrap around date and secure with a toothpick.
3. Bake in a 350 oven, on a baking sheet with sides, covered with parchment paper,  until bacon is cooked but be careful not to burn, about 4 minutes.  Serve immediately.

 

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

 

Small paring knife -               teaspoon                Cutting board

Large baking sheet with sides                Parchment paper

Serving platter
